Welcome to my blog!
Ricardo Serpa/Lux Images
Sydney's Bat Mitzvah was a memorable event for all who had the privilege to attend both the service, held at Temple Beth El in Fort Myers, and the party at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Pointe, in the evening. Robin, Sydney's mom, made sure every single detail was taken care of, and it was because of her efforts that the day went by flawlessly. Sydney did a great job at the service, and then partied all night long with her best friends and the whole family. My good friend Jazz kept the mood on all the time and got all the guests dancing throughout the evening, like he always does. Thanks for the great memories, this was indeed a night to remember...

From the first moment when I reviewed your work on your website, it was then that I knew you would be my photograher. Most people would not be interested in looking at pictures of people they do not know, unless it is photograhed by someone who turns photograhy into art. Ricardo, as Betoveen is to music, Picasso is to art, You are to photography. You have given me the gift of your work. I hired you as my photograher, but you felt like one of my guests. With much appreciation and gratitiude, Robin & Geoff
(10.12.09 @ 08:47 PM)Robin, Geoff, how can I thank you for such wonderful words? I certainly don't belong in the same league as those "sacred" names you mention, but I do appreciate the fact that you recognize what I try to do with my photography. I want to tell stories by capturing those "hidden" little moments that go by so quickly, those tiny bits of instants that would otherwise go by unnoticed... I'm glad I was there to tell Sydney's story this past Saturday, and it was a pleasure and an honor to have met you all, from the bottom of my heart. Looking forward to new stories now!
