Time flies by... A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of photographing Dani Baker's Bat Mitzvah. I blinked and it was already Noah's turn! His celebration was every bit as intense and happy as his older sister's, and the day started early for the service at Temple Dor Dorim, where Noah did a great job. In the evening, the crowd moved to Voodoo Lounge, in Fort Lauderdale, and the partying didn't stop for a single minute. A great dancing performance from the Bakers opened the evening, and from then on their guests were on the dance floor until the very end. It was definitely fun, Noah, congrats!

| Weddings

Andy photographed Jaime and Matt's fantastic wedding Saturday, in downtown Miami. Jaime was ready to get the show on the road, but the unpredictable Miami weather let off some rain right over the Epic Hotel, so the ceremony ended up happening indoors. They kept their cool and knew that it was going to work out for the best. It was truly a beautiful and fun day with Jaime and Matt, and the first photos below should give everyone a nice idea of how great things can be, even when they don't go as planned... Congratulations, guys!

Jonathan photographed Cole's Bar Mitzvah this past Saturday at the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, and he was impressed with the intensity of Cole's celebration, from the service to the great party fueled by David, from Pure Energy, and his crew. Cole, his family and friends all had a fantastic time, and Jonathan's first images of the day certainly show it. Congratulations, Cole!

| Mitzvahs

They have waited anxiously for their B'nai Mitzvah, and last Saturday it all came together at Temple Dor Dorim: a great morning service, followed right away by a great and fun party. Lots of excellent music (the Canters are big rock fans), tons of fun, and lots of friends and family partying and dancing almost non-stop. It was nice to see these brothers enjoying their big day with such intensity, and to see how happy Lori and Hal were with their sons. Mazel Tov, Jason and Josh, you should be very proud of yourselves!

Morgan and Mike

| Weddings

Morgan and Mike are getting married in March, and their engagement photos were long due... The cold weather didn't let us do the session a few weeks ago, so we decided to wait a little more and get them right. Good decision, because they ended up having a ton of fun by Las Olas Boulevard last week, and even hit the beach for a while, since they didn't risk freezing out there. They were brave enough to go in the not-so-warm waters of Hollywood Beach, and it was a perfect ending for a very nice afternoon. See you at the wedding!

| Mitzvahs

Ryan's Bar Mitzvah is approaching fast, so it was time to do some photos, as part of the big celebration. He wanted to them at the beach, so there we ended on a cloudy afternoon, with rain coming and going until just before we started the session. He played football, did some nice tricks with his guitar and we got to get some waves together. Cheryl, David and Rachel came along for the ride, and the result was a great and fun afternoon! We are getting there, Ryan!
