It has been years since I was there for the last time, but I've always felt Amsterdam is a city like no other and a very special favorite destination. Last week I was able to confirm that feeling once again, after spending 5 days strolling around the small streets and lovely canals that give Amsterdam its special character... Fantastic food from all corners of the world, bikes everywhere and cozy cafés overlooking the tranquil canal waters and the old buildings that are also very unique. It felt wonderful to sit and watch life happening around me, with no pre-scheduled meetings or places to be. Life can be that simple, even if for a few days only...

Amanda, Ilyssa and I spent a beautiful late afternoon at the beach a couple of weeks ago, so they could have a few photos taken for their upcoming B'not Mitzvah in May. It turned out to be a great time, for the weather was perfect, the mood was right and the girls were simply amazing to work with. I can feel that their celebration will be a splendid one... Looking forward to it!

Michelle and Samara had an amazing B'not Mitzvah celebration at Temple Solel yesterday, and as their theme rightly predicted, it was "simply magnificent"! Their big day started with a Havdalh service which went flawlessly, with the party following right away. The animation was provided my good friend Joseph, from Pure Energy, and he did a great job of keeping the mood always up. Another great friend, Sean Harvey, was in charge of documenting the whole day in film, and the staff at Temple Solel, led by Brad Friedman, was also fantastic. It was a night to remember for sure, and I was happy to photograph yet another milestone in the Eisenbergs lives. Mazel Tov!

It was truly a pleasure to photograph Marlent and Zack's amazing wedding last Saturday in Coral Gables. I was looking forward to it since I first met them at the studio, seeing how passionate and happy they were about finally tying the knot. The day began at the Biltmore Hotel, where they both got ready for the ceremony at the beautiful Coral Gables Congregational Church. After they walked down the aisle, the party began at the Comber Hall and didn't stop until the end of the night - except for an awesome surprise show of chinese folkloric dance that kept everyone mesmerized. The music was provided by DJ Ubi, who as always didn't skip a single beat, and my good friends Ursula and Ed, from Belvedere Films, did a fantastic job capturing the whole day in film. Jessica Masi was also outstanding as the wedding planner, overlooking every detail until the very end. Congrats, Marlent and Zack, I wish you both a life full of beautiful moments together!

Peace, Love, Happiness... Jordan's Bat Mitzvah theme was exactly what she is all about! The celebration began with a great performance during the morning service at Temple Dor Dorim, which was followed by a great party right there at the Temple. Jordan didn't stop partying with her friends for a single minute, and everybody had an amazing afternoon sharing the Kramers' happiness. I was there for Jordan's big brother Ryan two years ago, when he celebrated his own Bar Mitzvah, and I couldn't have been happier to be there for Jordan too. Mazel Tov, Jordan, Ryan, Heidi and Jeff, you all are fantastic!
