Lise-Marie and Yohan came all the way from Fairbanks, Alaska, to have their time together under the Florida sun. They also decided to celebrated their recent wedding with a nice photo session at the beach, and off we went to my favorite location in Hollywood to capture this great couple. They enjoyed an amazing afternoon having fun, soaking in the sun and enjoying each other's company. Congratulations, Lise-Marie and Yohan, and best of luck - always!

A few weeks more and it's time for Jacob to become a Bar Mitzvah... Together with older brother Zack, we spent a beautiful late afternoon at the beach, so he could have some photos ready for the big day. Looking forward to it, Jacob, you're going to do great!

I have just spent one week between Boston and NY, visiting colleges with my family and also putting the indescribable Leica M9, a camera that is simply too good to put into words. One lens only, the 35mm/2 Summicron, and after these first test shots with the Leica, all I can say is that there's nothing that compares to it... The week was simply fantastic!

Gabby's Bat Mitzvah was celebrated with a ton of fun at Temple B'nai Aviv, and her family and friends were treated to a an amazing and very happy party right there at the Temple. Gabby's smile is simply contagious, so it's no coincidence that the whole party was a non-stop joyful event, full of emotional moments and happiness all around. Congratulations to this adorable family, it was fantastic to have been there to witness it all!

One week of fun waves in an amazing place: Tamarindo, on the North Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Friendly people, fantastic views and incredible weather... A very welcomed time away from the rushed life in the studio, and certainly a destination to be visited again. Thanks to Jeanette from Matos Surf Shop, in Playa Grande, for the photos at the end of the post - sometimes it's good to be on the other side of the lens!
