Matthew had a fantastic time this past weekend celebrating his Bar Mitzvah at Temple Dorim! After a flawless performance in the morning service, he got to party with all his friends in the evening, and what a party it was! Lots of dancing, cheering and some very emotional moments for him and his family, all of which made the whole an unforgettable one for this great family. Congrats, Matthew, on a job really well done!

Sydney's Bat Mitzvah was a home run! I knew it would be a fantastic celebration, but I had no idea how intense and emotional it ended up being, and the Grobmans definitely showed that they know how to party... Sydney's day began with a solo performance at Temple Dor Dorim, where she demonstrated complete control of the situation and performed admirably. In the evening, also at the Temple, it was then party time for her friends and family, under the command of Jazz and his crew. The dance floor was crowded all night long, and I think everyone left the Temple feeling they could have partied for many hours more. Mazel Tov, Sydney, it was an honor to have been there for you!

Katie is definitely a rising star! Her Bat Mitzvah was a big celebration to her family, her friends and herself, and it was also a fantastic opportunity to show how talented this pretty girl is: she sings, she composes and she performs. It's the complete package for sure... Her special day began with a beautiful service at Temple Dor Dorim, which as followed in the evening by a great party/show right there at the Temple. It was an incredible night and I guess nobody will ever forget how much it was - Mazel Tov to the Cohens, and thanks for yet another amazing time with all of you!

After over one month away from the studio, enjoying some time away in Rio with family and friends, it felt good to be back behind the camera, and Sydney's photo session was an incredible way to start the second semester of the year! Although she never did such a session before, Sydney performed as a real pro model, knowing the exact balance between posing and acting naturally. Her Bat Mitzvah is in a few weeks more, and I'm looking forward to celebrate with her and her friends. Amazing job, Sydney!

Katie's Bat Mitzvah is still a couple of months away, but I'm already looking forward to what promises to be a fantastic event... Katie is an accomplished singer and composer (besides being an amazing ice skater), and one can tell she is already on her way to a beautiful career and some great achievements. We spent some time in late June photographing at her recording studio, and also at the ice rink, and here you can check a few first images of our session together. Great job, Katie!

I had the pleasure of photographing Sam's Bar Mitzvah last Saturday at Temple Beth Sholom, in Miami Beach. It was a beautiful Havdalah service. performed superbly by Sam, and the party followed right after at La Gorce Country Club, on Alton Road. Sam's mom, Wendy, planned every little detail for the day, so it was not surprising at all to see the exquisitely decorated room and how intense and fun the whole evening turned out to be. The Smiths simply had a blast, and so did their guests. Congratulations, Sam, it was really touching to see you happily celebrating this important day in your life!
