Jerod's portrait was a great one! He just started learning how to play the guitar, and decided to use his own for some of the photos. His Bar Mitzvah is just around the corner now and I'm excited to be photographing it. See you again real soon, Jerod!

This beach session was another one of those "long-time-coming" ones... I've known Patty and Scott House since the studio opened its doors back in 2006 (they're the owners of Casablanca, my neighbors at the Weston Town Center), and we have talked about doing some fun portraits for quite some time now. This past week we finally did, together with Taylor, Ana Paula and Valentina. It was done at my favorite beach spot, the North Beach Park in Hollywood, at the end of a very rainy day. The sun came out just in time for a few photos, and when we hit the water, it was almost dusk. Fun time with the Houses, and lots of images to choose from...

Scott House:

What a great day at the beach! The shots are terrific! How nice to do a photo session and wish it would never end. Never had to think about posing or looking just right. Serpa's live action expertise and experience sets him apart from all other photographers. Don't think I'd ever do a "sitting" again. Thanks again for a lot of fun! House Family

Glad to know you have had fun! Same here, for sure... The Houses were "in the mood", so that alone made my job easy, Scott. Working on the photos now, I'll see you all soon!

Fabiana and Raphael brought their beautiful daughter, Raphaela, for a morning of fun and photos to celebrate the arrival of their new baby, who is supposed to be around us in a matter of a couple of weeks... This is an amazing family, and being that they are swimmers, photos at the pool were in order. Raphael is the swimming coach at Midtown Athletic, in Weston - and besides being a very good friend, he is also my coach there! It was a pleasure spending the time with you guys...

Wow, what impressive pictures you took of Raphael, Fabiana, Raphaela, and Manuella. The pool and beach were excellent settings for a family of swimmers. Excellent.

Amazing job, Ricardo. Of course, you performed your magic again! How appropriate for this family to do shoots both at the beach and pool. Thanks for sharing these beautiful family photos. Good luck Coach Raphael and we can't wait to meet Fabiana.

Maria and Wil live in Colorado and are getting married here in South Florida in less than two weeks. We decided to kick off the celebrations with a nice photo session in the downtown Miami area, something that they have been wanting to do for a long time now. We spent the later part of the afternoon working the streets and getting to know each other. They both were a little shy at the beginning, but after just a few shots they warmed up to the camera and really gave it their all. We'll be seeing them again soon for the big day!

Robert is a senior at Cypress Bay, and his graduation is coming at the end of the month. Since he is also a cross-country runner, we decided to have a few photos of him at the beach, doing what he loves most. His mom Donna was also there and joined him for a few shots... Congratulations, Robert, now it is college time!

Omer wanted his Bar Mitzvah studio photos to be fun, and he was the one to imagine himself doing some card tricks... Together we played a lot of 52 Pick-Ups, but in the end it was worth the trouble. Omer is a really cool guy and I will be photographing his big day in just a couple of weeks from now... Looking forward to it!
